Rubber Expansion Joints
The expansion joints are manufactured in various rubber qualities, providing the optimal solution for every application.
An expansion joint is a flexible element designed to compensate for movements in pipelines, particularly those caused by thermal expansion, vibration, wall transitions, or ground settlement. Compensation is achieved mechanically through an elastic bellow.
Depending on the medium, pressure, temperature, and required service life, the expansion joint is made from different materials. In the power plant sector, metal and fabric expansion joints are most commonly used; however, there are also applications where rubber, PTFE, or other plastic expansion joints are preferred.
